This is a war no one wants to fight except a handful of greedy, disconnected oligarchs who send their people to die. We are concerned and heartbroken but also more motivated than ever to help. We will do everything in our might to aid our Ukranian friends.

War is the worst thing in the world. Innocent civilians suffer because of geopolitical and power ambitions. I could not sit idly by and watch this suffering. We have business partners, colleagues and friends in Ukraine. At first we wanted to help as eSuba, but I realised that there is strength in unity. That’s why the idea of uniting esport organisations to help was born. I would like to thank everyone who joined or otherwise supported this initiative!

A week ago we all woke up to a world that will never be the same again. Since then, many of us have been watching with great concern and dismay the developments in Ukraine that directly affect our relatives, colleagues, friends and millions of other people. I condemn the military aggression in Ukraine, and firmly believe it is necessary to do everything possible to mitigate its effects. I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in Esports for Ukraine. I am convinced that together we will manage to reach not only fans of Czechoslovak esports.

Válka na Ukrajině je všechny naprosto zásadní událost. Nejen kvůli blízkosti našich národů, ale také kvůli historickým souvislostem a budoucnosti, kterou nám bude utvářet. Proto je nutné se již dnes spojit a pomoci jak jen to je možné. Jsem velmi rád, že CZSK esport komunita se takto jednomyslně spojila. 10 years ago, our players were at a tournament in Kiev in the famous Cyber Arena that also hosted the world-famous IEM. Today, bombs rain down on those venues, machine gun rounds cut through the air, and tank tracks crush everything in their path. Unfortunately, war always falls most heavily on the most vulnerable ones – civilians. Young or old, children or grandparents, healthy or sick, war does not choose. But the amount of injuries and loss of life cannot be tolerated. EERINESS fully supports the creation and mission of this initiative.

As a media house we do our best to fulfil our role by 1000% as well as our social responsibility, and to report truthfully and meaningfully on the entire Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Through the number and reach of all our media, as well as projects such as the esport league, we have the opportunity to both inform and educate society, and we try to express maximum support to all Ukrainian citizens. I am happy that the whole esport community has united and decided to use the influence and the reach that it has for a good cause.

Stojíme jednoznačně za nezávislou Ukrajinou. Jsem rád, že k iniciativě přidávají přední osobnosti českého esportu. Každý má svoji vítěznou barvu, dnes se ale „oblékáme“ do žluté a modré. Soupeření a rivalita patří pouze na sportoviště, byť v našem případě virtuální. Děkuji všem, kteří společně s námi Ukrajinu podporují.

The most frustrating thing in life is when you get into a situation that you can’t do anything about. That’s why it’s important to find something that can be done. In this situation, I guess it’s mainly being there for the people around you, offering help to those in need around you, or financially supporting one of the fundraisers. And, of course, hoping that the nightmare will end soon. I was touched to see how the game teams have come together to help those who need it now the most.
